Mental health is an evaluation of the condition of an individual based on his/her mental status. Mental health is the condition of an individual who is in an active state of mental health or lack of such. It is the state of a person who is “functioning satisfactorily at a satisfactory level” of mental and emotional adjustment.
As mental health may not always be apparent in a patient, its presence can only be established through a psychological evaluation. A mental health professional’s job is to determine the state of an individual’s mental health, and then to provide recommendations as to how this condition can be improved upon. The state of an individual’s mental health should not only include their emotional and physical health but also include their educational, occupational and social health. The state of an individual’s mental health will also affect the way that they interact with other individuals.
Many people who are suffering from mental health issues may experience emotional outbursts, hallucinations, paranoia, delusions and hallucinations. They may also experience an inability to process social situations that they may have previously found very manageable. Their ability to form and maintain healthy relationships may also be compromised. These symptoms may be present in adults and children alike, but it can also be an early indication of Alzheimer’s or depression.

A study of the way that cognitive behavioral therapy works for many patients has shown that many of them are able to reduce their mental health issues after the treatment session has concluded. For example, patients who were diagnosed with bipolar disorder showed a significant improvement after receiving cognitive behavioral therapy; the patient was able to remain in control of their life and feel that they were capable of coping with new responsibilities, and maintaining relationships in a more positive way.
